You can imagine how dangerous this can be if a pregnant lady or old lady or small children (shorter than the bush) crosses the path and is hit by a bicycle or motor/electric cycle. Even for an adult, the bush is tall enough to block your views of oncoming cycles. The path is along a curve with a bush that inhibits visibility. There is no blindspot mirror for pedestrians.
